Description
This high-quality, FFP2-certified disposable respiratory mask protects against dangerous and hazardous aerosols and fine dust particles. It is suitable for an environment with particularly harmful substances in the air, e.g. in mining or in the metal industry. Thanks to the integrated nosepiece, the mask fits snugly.
Technical specifications
Weight: approx. 4.2 g
Layers: 3 x double layers (like 6 conventional layers)
Material: Nanofiber Nonwoven
Filter effect: FFP2 according to certificate / test report
Certification: Tested and approved with CE mark in accordance with DIN EN149: 2001 + A1: 2009
Notified Body CE 2163
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR HEALTH: Limited wearing time
This FFP2 mask protects the mask wearer with its filter effect, but the filter makes breathing difficult. The wearing time is therefore 75 minutes at the maximum, then a break of 30 minutes is necessary. Several assignments on one working day are possible.
Disposable mask for one use (= one working day) only.
Expiring date: 2 years from the production date.

Protection with respiratory masks
The most dangerous health risks in the air we breathe are often almost invisible. FFP masks are mandatory at workplaces where the maximum permissible concentration of dust, smoke, mists and aerosols in the air is exceeded. [Continue reading]
The protective function of respiratory masks (= fine dust mask, particle filtering half mask) is standardized across Europe according to EN 149. The three protection classes FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 offer respiratory protection against different concentrations of pollutants, depending on the filtering of particle with a size up to 0.6 μm and the total leakage. FFP means “filtering face piece”.
The total leakage of the mask is understood as the permeability of the filter, the exhalation valve (if existing) and the leaks to the face.
Explanation of FFP2 respiratory protection
A respirator of protection class FFP2 is suitable for an environment with particularly harmful and mutagenic substances in the air, e.g. in mining or in the metal industry. [Continue reading]
If the exposure limit at the workplace does not exceed 10 times the concentration, the FFP2 mask must catch at least 94 % of the particles up to a size of 0.6 μm that are in the air.
- Protection against smoke and aerosols as well as solid and liquid dust that is harmful to health
- Particles can be fibrogenic (short-term irritation of the respiratory tract, long-term decrease in the elasticity of the lung tissue)
- Total leakage (filter permeability, permeability between face and mask) maximum 11%
- Exceeding the occupational exposure limit may not exceed 10 times
Important information for your health – Limited wearing time
FFP2 masks protect the mask wearer with their filter effect. Please note that the filter makes breathing difficult.
For this particle-filtering FFP2 half mask without exhalation valve, the wearing time is
75 minutes at the maximum, followed by a break of at least 30 minutes. [Continue reading]
This disposable mask can be used several times in one working day. A shorter period of wearing results in a correspondingly shorter recovery period.
